The demonstrations against the anti-terror bill, which limits the freedom of speech, organizing and action and considers everybody as a terrorist, are continuing. The Contemporary Lawyers Association (CHD) and Human Rights Association ( IHD ) Izmir branches hold a demo against this bill in 24 April. Lawyers and human rights defenders, who wore foulards, which is considered to be a offence by the draft legislation, demanded cancellation of the bill, which will be discussed in the parliament. In 24th April, the Modern Lawyers Group of Istanbul Lawers Council, said that in front of the Council Building "the anti-terror bill aims at creating ‘extraordinary conditions' for an indefiniti period of time." The Unity Against the Anti-Terror Bill made a press statement and demanded the cancellation of the bill at the Istanbul Taksim Stop, 22 April. In the demo, there was a banner saying "Draw back the bill. Cancel all anti -democratic laws."
