Second Middle East Youth Conference Started In Kobanê

The 2nd Middle East Youth Conference started in Kobanê Cultural Centre Wednesday morning.
Under the slogan "Towards a Multicolored and Democratic Middle East under the leadership of Youth" the Conference will last 3 days.
Aims of the Conference are the recognition of movements, organizations and revolutionary figures in the Middle East, discussing the Middle East crisis and possible solutions as well as the establishment of a common mechanism.
The conference also aims to create a spirit of democratic and socialist common struggle in the Middle East, to raise the democratic people's struggle against the imperialist crisis and to create a perspective of revolution and uprising against the ruling forces.
Over 300 delegates attended the Conference from four parts of Kurdistan as well as from Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Libya, Armenia, Egypt and Turkey. Other delegates from Tunisia, Yemen, North Africa and Sudan are attending the conference via Skype.
The conference began with a minute's silence and opening speech of the organising committee.
In the three days Conference, several topics will be discussed under various titles, including "Crises and Problems in the Middle East in the Age of Capitalist Modernity", "Women and gender", "Religion", "Nationalism", "Dogmatism", "The role, mission and responsibility of the youth in Democratic Nation and popular resistance", "Palestine instance", "Arab spring", "Kurdish Freedom Movement and North/East Syria Revolution", "Cultural massacres and genocides against the Middle Eastern peoples".
At the end of the conference, participants of the conference will visit historical sites in North and East Syria.
