Prisoners jailed as part of MLKP cases published a statement to join the hunger strike action in Turkey and Kurdistan prisons on January 3.
In the written statement it says the following:

"As MLKP case prisoners, we are starting a hunger action between 3-8 January to support the hunger strike launched by DTK co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven in order for the isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan to end and for his freedom to be ensured.

Leyla Güven's demands are legitimate and must be answered.

Remove the isolation on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan."
