Mihamed Ehmed (Qendîl Serêkanîyê), who was fighting under the Şehid Mazlûm Aktaş Batallion belonging to Şehit Alişer Deniz Brigade, fell martyr in Deir ez-Zor, after a clash between the ISIS gangs. He was an Arabic fighter from the city of Serêkanîyê, Rojava.

On the 25th of November, the ISIS gangs carried out car bomb attacks targeting the positions of SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) fighters on the northern and western fronts of Hajin in an attempt to impede their advance in the ongoing Operation Cizire Storm in Deir ez-Zor countryside. SDF fighters immediately retaliated and repelled the attacks however during the clashes, casualties from the SDF were also recorded. One of these casualties came out to be Mihamed Ehmed, as his family confirmed his identity.

 

Mihamed Ehmed was bid farewell to immortality on the 3rd of December with a mass ceremony held in the Martyrs' Cemetery of Serêkanîyê, after his body had been taken from the hospital by the Şehit Alişer Deniz Brigade fighters. Hundreds of peoples from Serêkanîyê including SDF, YPG, YPJ and MLKP fighters were participated the the ceremony, embracing their martyr.
