June 24th was a day full of manipulation, unlawfulness and attacks. According to unofficial sources, fascist dictator Erdoğan won 52% of the presidential election. The fascist alliance AKP - MHP has won 343 seats in the parliamentary elections and thus achieved the parliamentary majority. The HDP won 11.69% and is back in parliament with 67 seats, of which 25 (37%) are represented by women. The HDP has managed to become first party in 11 cities of Northern Kurdistan. With the announcement of the HDP to participate in the elections, the attacks have begun, which have intensified in the last 10 days. On June 14, three supporters of the HDP were killed in an attack by the AKP in Suruç, Urfa.{divide}

Despite all these attacks and the media blockade against the HDP, it has managed to overcome the undemocratic 10% hurdle, proving that the Kurdish people, the oppressed and anti-fascists have kept their fighting spirit.

The HDP has brought this hope to Parliament, demonstrating once again that it will be an important mean after the elections to reach the progressive democratic masses and strengthen the anti-fascist front in the struggle against Erdoğan fascism. This was evident yesterday in the celebrations in the cities of Kurdistan and in the protests in Turkey.
The need for the revolutionary core within the HDP to lead the anti-fascist struggle has already become apparent with the first election results. After the election results were published in the state news agency Anadolu Ajansı (AA), it was already clear in the light of the experience of the last elections that it was electoral fraud. In the hours that followed, thousands of people who wanted to protect the ballot boxes carried their anger to the streets. In many provinces and cities, starting with Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Hatay, people have taken a firm stance in front of the polling stations despite violent attacks by the police and fascist AKP gangs. The candidate of the bourgeois opposition Muharrem Ince has made no statement at night. His party, the CHP , has pointed out in all its explanations, although the electoral fraud, but trying to appease the masses. In declaring the electoral authority YSK, Ince and the CHP have accepted their defeat and with their confessions of defeat thrown aside the rage of the population against the election day's attacks and voting mismatches.
Under the influence of more than 10,000 prisoners from its own ranks, the HDP could not lead the small reactions on the election night on the streets of Turkey and the celebrations on the entry into the parliament of the HDP masses in Kurdistan were not turned into an action of anger against Erdoğan. Starting with HDP Co-Presidencies and HDP MPs, it is the responsibility of the HDP that no initiative has been taken to challenge a major popular uprising on election night. The efforts of the revolutionaries within the HDP and the anti-fascist forces around the HDP have been only enough to hold the protests in their given form for some time.
There is no legitimacy for Erdoğan, who was elected president in the first ballot and thereby secured the legal basis for his dictatorship.
Under the conditions of exemption in which the legislature was repealed and by the physical attacks before and during the elections, as well as the media manipulation, the election results have no value for the people.
The systematic electoral frauds have not led to a bigger mass reaction and for the developments that the dictator strives for with the distribution of parliamentary elections after the election, he needs the support of the nationalists to ensure the majority.
The significance of such a phase is that the dictator will expand the colonial war throughout Kurdistan. This war also aims to mak the class movement that is developing against the economic crisis passive.
With the powers of the state of emergency and the disempowerment of parliament Erdoğan wants to crush the entire opposition. Starting with the HDP and its affiliates, the bourgeois opposition will gradually be exposed to the attacks of the dictator. Apart from their own de facto legitimate struggles of the working class, unions such as the last organizational forces of the working class DISK and KESK will be targeted. A comprehensive austerity program to the detriment of the working people is opposed to the deepening of the economic crisis. But this structural crisis of the system can not be overcome if the struggle continues. This struggle includes all antifascists and the task of the communist vanguard, the task of paving new paths. The HDP has fulfilled its role in being a lever for the post-election anti-fascist struggle. Now it is time to begin the work with the hope that embody all those oppressed who are fighting for a broad anti-fascist front and gave their vote for the HDP.
