May Day, the Day of International Solidarity of the Working Class, was celebrated in various cities of Turkey and Kurdistan with mass rallies and manifestations. Workers and laborers filled squares with their anger against patriarchal capitalist exploitation order, colonialist war, fascism, dictatorship, State of Emergency and gave a great message of resistance against fascist chef Erdogan's cruelty.{divide}

 

 

 Around two hundred thousand people attended the Istanbul May Day rally, which was held in Maltepe with the slogan "We will see nice days!". Along with banners reading "For the work, peace, freedom and justice; long live Mayday", "Fascism will fall, exploitation will end, socialism will win", "Against part time life, full time resistance!", "Courage is enough to change the future, unless you don't stop", "Insurrection against patriarchy, exploitation and violence", the slogans of "Shoulder to shoulder against fascism" and "Long live Efin resistance!" were frequently raised by the participants. On the other hand, those who tried to enter the Taksim square, which had been banned by the government before, were attacked by the police. Around hundred people have been detained. In Izmir rally, over than hundred thousand of worker and laborers raised their call for a united struggle against State of Emergency. The city of the mine workers, Zonguldak, witnessed the most crowded May Day celebration in recent years; "Long live our democracy struggle" came to the fore along the slogans. The celebration in Çorum, where the governmental sugar factory was sold recently, passed by mass protests of the workers against privatizations with the slogans "We sell those who sell sugar", "Hands off from sugar".

 

 

 

The May Day rallies in the major Northern Kurdistan cities, such as Diyarbakir, Van, Mardin and Dersim, remarked the politics of exploitation and war. Squares with banners like "Women will bring the spring, so as the peace", "Let's bring labor to the power" shouted slogans "Long live May Day, Long live Socialism", "Long live the Sur resistance", "Down with fascist dictatorship", "Long live leader Öcalan"

 

 

 
The Northern Syrian peoples, who filled out streets of Rojava cities such as Qamişlo, Kobane, Dirbesiye and Serakaniye, protested the attacks over the Rojva revolution. The Initiative for the Unity and Solidarity of Peoples (SYPG), which have taken an active role in organizing the May Day celebrations in Rojava, attended the rallies with banners "Protect Rojava Revolution, Liberate Afrin", "Long live May Day, Long Live Socialism". - In her speech at Qamislo celebration, the SYPG representative Beritan Asya remarked the exploitative character of capitalism disregarding the will of peoples, and said "we will build a new life which will arise from the values of labouer, siding with all humanity".- First time this year, the fighters that belong to the Serekaniye province celebrated the May Day with a special event. Speeches made by MLKP/ Rojava, MLKP/KKÖ, YPG and YPJ forces are all gave once again the promise to fight for honour and freedom.
