The people of Afrin took to the streets against the occupation war of the AKP regime. Hundreds of thousands gathered in Newroz Square to protest attacks by Turkey-backed FSA gangs. Equal Chair of the Northern Syrian Democratic Federation Hediye Yusif, TEV-DEM Asya Abdullah's executive executive, Afri Hevi Mustafa, the equal Democrat head of the Democratic Party, representatives of the Kongre Star, PYD, and the Armenian and Arab peoples participated in the demonstration. The demonstration included speeches against the aggressive war of Erdoğan, which is directed not only against Afrin, but all peoples of the Middle East. The long-planned attack was directed against all peoples of northern Syria. In a call to the world public the speachers demanded, not to remain silent against the massacres of civilians, committed by the Turkish state. The people of Afrin announced to defend themselves. The immortalized fighter Awesta has become a symbol of struggle.
