In August 2017 two main agents of the Turkish secret intelligence service MIT were interrogated by a special unit of the HPG in the "revolutionary revenge operation Sehit Sakine Cansiz" in Başur (South Kurdistan). In this operation important information and documents were confiscated. The KCK has confirmed that "the Turkish state still pursues the basic strategy of wiping out the Kurds, which is why its policy of disciplining, overthrowing and trafficking has not changed. Even today, they sweeten the guerrillas and liquidate them by trying to break the people's will. The severe isolation against our leadership is part of the plan to wipe out the Kurdish people."

The fascist AKP rule under Erdogan has formed special units of the MIT, which were ordered to assassinate leaders of PKK . The plans of MIT were uncovered early.

The arrested agents Erhan Pekçetin and Aydın Günel deal directly with intelligence chief Hakan Fidan and stand under command of Tayyip Erdoğan. Erhan Pekçetin heads the strategically important division of ethnic separatist activities in the country. Aydın Günel is a senior executive of the department for domestic and foreign ressources.

The KCK states that the two members are treaten under the rights to the laws of liberty. During their arrest nothing was done, what would attack their identity, their personality or their honour. During the self-governance resistances in Cizre two other MIT-agents have been captured befor. This operation prevented the assassination plans of the Turkish state. The structure of MIT, its organization, members, centers, domestic and overseas networks, intruded agents within states and organizations has largely been exposed. Important information were obtained about the Paris massacre, where the three Kurdish revolutionaries SakineCansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez have been killed, and attacks in Rojava, as well as illegal interception centers. The identities of MIT employees in Northern Kurdistan, Turkey, Europe, Rojava and Southern Kurdistan have been revealed.
